Nice to see so many people came out for the Ballister show and the presentation of our 2 new Dropa Disc releases. And The next Oorstof event is coming up this Thursday March 23rd already at the mighty Zuiderpershuis. Belgian percussionist Jakob Warmenbol (Bolhaerd, The Rova Special Sextet) and Swiss-Swedish reed player Sebastian Strinning (Joachim Badenhorst, Frank Gratkowsky) will record their debut album as the next pony level and Chicago expat and percussionist Frank Rosaly will play a rare solo set for the first time on a Belgian stage. And because we like to spoil you with good music on March 31st also at Zuiderpershuis, French-Norwegian band Dans Les Arbres with Christian Wallumrød, Xavier Charles, Ivar Grydeland and Ingar Zach in the ranks will present the brand new record Phosphoresence out on HUBRO and Belgian-Norwegian alliance Veder feat. Niels Van Heertum, Eivind Lønning, Joachim Badenhorst and Ruben Machtelinckx will tackle texture, melody, improvisation and composition with 3 horns and acoustic guitar.
