On Thursday 22 January at Dropa House you can experience solo sets by Beirut-based Swiss clarinettist and composer, Paed Conca (Praed Orchestra, The Mad Laboratory of Anti-Matter) who will perfom on clarinet and electronics, Swiss improvisation pioneer Hans Koch (Koch, Schütz, Studer) who will perform solo on soprano sax, and the Brussels based Iranian improviser Ghazal Faghihi, who will play a clarinet solo.

Next to the solo sets of these world-class players, there will be homemade slow food: Rich flavors and pure ingredients carefully picked and prepared by the Dropa House crew, drinks and plenty of merch. Come early….

During their short Dropa House residency Koch, Faghihi, Conca and reed player Joachim Badenhorst will prepair ‘FEAR’, a new composition of Conca for 4 clarinets under the PORTA CHIUSA banner. You can see them perform ‘FEAR’ live at Rataplan on Fri 23 January and at Flagey’s Studio 2 on Sat 24 January.
