AB and Sound in Motion present Orcutt Shelley Miller, the new all-star avant-rock trio of guitarist Bill Orcutt (Harry Pussy), drummer Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and bassist Ethan Miller (Comets On Fire) on their first ever European tour as a trio.

Bill Orcutt has become a key figure in the contemporary underground (guitar) scene over the last few decades. Whether through his many solo albums, his noise-rock band Harry Pussy, his Bill Orcutt Guitar Quartet or the numerous collaborations with greats of the improv scene (Chris Corsano, Loren Connors, Peter Brötzmann, …).

An album has just recently been released by the new power rock/supergroup trio ‘Orcutt Shelley Miller’, featuring Orcutt on electric guitar and a heavyweight rhythm section consisting of Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and Ethan Miller (Comets On Fire, Howlin’ Rains). The album is a live recording of their first ever concert (April 2024 in LA). At times the trio sounds like Neil Young & Crazy Horse disguised as a psychedelic jazz trio or like kraut-funk on the way to a solid Klaus Dinger-meets-Lothar Meid churn. AB and Sound in Motion are very pleased to be able to present them at AB Club.
