In order to enhance his sonic possibilities even further Yves De Mey teamed up with cello player Gino Coomans (Sheldon Siegel) and drummer Louis Evrard (Ottla) for a unique live performance at Summer Bummer 2019. In Januari 2020 De Mey and his trio – dubbed Grid Ravage – amazed with a stunning set at AB during The Sound of The Belgian Underground. But before they hit the recording studio De Mey in the challenging context of ABnormal again leaves the beaten track and lets the erratic cello tones of Coomans decide which way his adventurous electronic sounds will bounce.
