Mette Rasmussen (alto sax) & Pak Yan Lau (piano, electronics) play two live shows in the Oorstof series. The first show on Thursday 30/11 at AB Salon is a double bill with the new generation of Chicago improvisors Steve Marquette (guitar), Macie Stewart (violin) and Charlie Kirchen (bass) performing as the Few. This is a free/gratis show, doors open at 19.45.  The second show of Rasmussen & Lau is on Sunday December 3rd at DE Studio and that’s a double bill with the superb trio of Farida Amadou (bass), Audrey Lauro (alto sax) and Hanne De Backer (baritone sax) who invite percussionist Tom Malmendier and set out as a 4tet.
