During Summer Bummer 2021, Praed – the duo of Raed Yassin (electronics, voice) and Paed Conca (clarinet, electronics) – was forced by the pandemic rules to bring their exciting mix of Egyptian popular music (Shaabi), free jazz and electronic music in front of a (mouth)masked and seated audience. This year they start off Summer Bummer Late Night with a whopper of a no holds barred party.
To raise the party level a notch or two, Yassin and Conca come up with a new version of Praed Plus and drag the reed players Martin Küchen, Christian Kobi and Hans Koch and percussionist Khaled Yassine (darbuka) into the festivities.
Local legends djs Faster PussyKat, Schwarzkopf and Koenie will take you further into the night.
