Oorstof and Kraak present 3 adventurous and idiosyncratic solo concerts by Palestinian multi-instrumentalist Dirar Kalash, Ecuadorian Brussels based banjo and tape (mis)user Disposición Asoleada and Belgian modular synth manipulator Daniel DuchamP. Before, in between and after there’s Miaux Au Mix to smoothen the ears.

As a multi instrumentalist, multi-media artist and improviser Dirar Kalash explores open concepts, collective improvisation and open software. Not bound by genres or style, he displays an impressive musical knowledge in which he dissappears as an ever morphing chameleon. Besides the numerous genres he explored he also works with renowned artists like John Tilbury (AMM), John Lely and Arvind Gaga. For this show Kalash will explore the oud as if it where an avant-garde instrument pur sang.

Disposición Asoleada comes from the deep Brussels underground where he asthonished small but dedicated crowds with lo-fi banjo raga’s and tape collages. His universe is made out of Andian ghosts, tropical birds and haunting visions. Debuted recently on Lexi Disques.

Photographer, double bass player and modular synth wizzard Daniël DuchamP skates since long throughout the Belgian underground. He improvises massive deep listening pieces with bass and self build electronics. Highly recommended: his split lp with Timo Van Luijk.
