Fred Van Hove at 80 continues with a couple of shows starting with a solo set at NONA, Mechelen, pairing him with Bram De Looze representing the new generation of improvisors solo on 3 fortepianos.

Belgian debut for the challenging Norwegian quintet Nakama and record release show for g a b b r o the adventurous baritone sax duo of Hanne De Backer and Marc De Maeseneer.

Jooklo Duo’s Virginia Genta and David Vanzan team up with sax player Stanley J. Zappa as Jooklo Zappa. Portugese trio Ricardo Jacinto, Gonçalo Almeida and Nuno Morão present their multi-idiomatic approach to free jazz as The Selva and Audrey Lauro, Yuko Oshima and Pak Yan Lau further explore sounds as lauroshilau.

After John Zorn’s The Stone saxophone player Mars Williams (Psychedelic Furs, Chicago Tentet … ) brings An Ayler Xmas: The Music of Albert Ayler and Songs of Xmas to the OORSTOF-series. Sound in Motion adds delicious homemade food for this unique fund raising event.
